Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent check, security deposit, and any other applicable fees need to be paid at the lease signing. Check the amount with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

Your official move-in date will be set at the lease signing. If an initial inspection is necessary, we'll also schedule that with you.

Utilities

Utility accounts for your property must be kept up to date. You also need to put all utility accounts in your name; do these immediately after signing the lease.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to leave your rental home? First, check your lease. You are responsible for paying rent through this date, regardless of when you move out.

You'll need to provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate. Please do so at least 30 days before vacating.

Property Condition

You must bring your home back to rent-ready condition before returning the keys.

  • Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean every room in your home and remove all of your personal belongings. Dispose of any trash or refuse, sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, and clean windows.
  • Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have outdoor space, take care of any regular upkeep tasks once more before moving out.
  • Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, please take the steps to resolve these issues. For significant damages, get in touch with us.

Security Deposit

The security deposit you pay at the beginning of your lease protects against any potential damage during your tenancy. We will conduct a final inspection after you move out. If we identify any damages, we'll make repairs and use the funds from your deposit to cover the expenses.

The remainder will be returned to you.
