Facing a toilet or plumbing problem? Fortunately, it's typically quite easy to handle these on your own.

Clogged Toilet

If your toilet isn't flushing properly, there may be something stuck in the pipe. You can use a plunger to push blockages through the system. Don't flush the toilet; the basin should drain on its own once you work the clog out.

Pipes (Sinks, Bathtubs, Etc)

If another drain isn't functioning in your home, you may be able to clear the pipe using a drain cleaning tool. Many hardware stores sell these devices. Please refrain from using harsh chemicals that could damage the plumbing system.

If you lose electrical power...

Please contact your utility provider. Your electrical company should be able to help you troubleshoot the cause of the outage.

If you don't have hot water in your property, check the settings on your heating tank. Does everything look accurate? Can you reset the tank?

If you make any changes, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water temperature again.

If you don't have heat or air conditioning, use the thermostat in your home to try to troubleshoot. Can you cycle the system off and back on? Does the system have power? Any information you can give us may help us to resolve your problem more quickly.
